We are just over a month away from the start of our summer programs. We already have over 3,500 day campers registered across our Dallas, Hazleton and Scranton area campuses and we expect another record breaking summer attendance. It’s not all about numbers but numbers matter because they represent people and people matter to God and they matter to us!
Our staff team is busy planning and preparing for the day, overnight and guest group campers that will come to Orchard Hill this summer. We will hire and train more than 100 seasonal staff to join our 62 year round full time and part time staff team. Altogether we expect over 6,000 campers this summer and we are excited to serve them with excellence!
As you’ll see in this newsletter, our team has been busy making improvements throughout camp. In addition to the generator and pavilion upgrades, our team has added bathrooms to the Apple Tree Café, renovated the gym game room with new flooring and paint and remodeled the lower suites in our Woodside Retreat facility. All of these improvements are designed to improve our guest experience.
