SOUS CHEF/ASSISTANT COOK

Full Time/Salary (Food Service):
Camp Orchard Hill has been a leader in Christian camping since 1972!  We have an immediate opening for a full-time, year round Sous Chef.  Join a team that makes a difference in the lives of our guests! This person must:

  • Demonstrate a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be in agreement with the camp doctrinal Statement of Faith.
  • Have culinary training, plus a minimum 2-5 years cooking experience with a culinary leadership role preferred.
  • Oversee all activities in the kitchen including safe food handling, food prep and presentation, cleaning, training and management of kitchen staff.
  • Ability to bend, stand, and stoop for long periods of time, and work long hours in hot conditions.

ASSISTANT FACILITIES DIRECTOR

Full Time/Salary (Facilities):
Camp Orchard Hill has been a leader in Christian camping since 1972!  We have an immediate opening for a full-time, year round Assistant Facilities Director.  Come help care for the beautiful grounds and facilities that God has provided for the ministry. This person must:

  • Demonstrate a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be in agreement with the camp doctrinal Statement of Faith.
  • Exemplify a servant-leader spirit, work independently, be committed to excellence and be an effective team player.
  • Have related experience in grounds and building maintenance and a desire to learn the basics of electrical, plumbing and vehicle maintenance.
  • Assist in the management of all facilities, grounds maintenance, renovations, capital projects, equipment and inventory, plus administration of maintenance staff.
