Our 2012 summer theme - Hope Rising

 

Summer 2012 is all about Hope!! It's a tough world out there and sometimes it's hard to believe that God is in control of all the swirling darkness and disappointment. This summer we are digging into God'sWord to discover His rescue plan, His promises and the reason for Hope Rising!

"Let us hold unswervingling to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful." Hebrews 10:23

WHAT MAKES IT THE "BEST WEEK EVER"

Each Saturday, as campers head home, we hear those words. So what's all the hype? We'll try to paint a picture for you, but you've really gotta be here this summer for all the new experiences, all the laughs and the lif-long relationshiops you'll build with your counselors, other campers and Jesus Christ.

Out back, you can race down our quad-zip lines, rip around the go cart track, or engage in combat on our 4 painball fields. At Lake Manjo, BLOB like it's your job, be the king of the Rock-it, or enjoy a boat ride as you try to reel in the Manjo Monster! Maybe you're a Ga-Ga juggernaut, can climb the Wall like a ringtailed lemur, or perhaps you prefer the adrenaline rush of the Giant Swing. For the chill crowd, you can hit the Apple Tree snack shop, grab a Moxie and meander to the pool for a wild ride down our whirling Vortex waterslide.

You can tear it up on your bike or board at our Woodward skatepark, dunk or dodge at the gym, or dominate the game room. At COH, you create your day of electives and you decide what to do with your free time. We'll fill in the rest with crazy MCP songs, off-the-wall skits and speakers that care about what you're going through.

Elementary/Middle Camp - Ages 8-14

Verge - Kick it up a notch! From fishing at sun-up, careening down our monster slip and slide in the afternoon and camputring your teams flag by night -this week of classic camp activities and learning about God's Word is just your style

Ages 8-14

Elementary - Ages 8-12

Roots - Wake up, sing, eat, play, party at MCP(Morning Camp Party_, play some more, eat some more, grow your roots, play, sleep, repeat! That's Roots camp! Whether you're dangling from the new playground or splashing in the pool you will love every second!

Middle School, Ages 11-14

Surge - Launch off our giant BLOB belly-laugh at Morning Camp Party and meet up with friends ino ur Apple Tree snack shop. All of the new experiences and independence of Surge will make this week the highlight of your summer!

You know what you want - independence, action, new experiences, fun and friends. Middle School camp is the place for you. We empower you to live for Christ, and we pack enough excitement and thrills into this one week to last you the entire year!

Junior/Senior High, Ages 13-17

Thrive - Whether you're serving it up on the volleyball court or soaking it up on a Lakefront Excursion, this week is all about carving out space in your busy life for spontaneous fun, awesome freindships, relaxation and of course Hope Rising!
